Fellow Foggers,

I am creating my wedding band and am incorporating a wooden element into the center channel of the ring after casting as you can see in the photos below.  The channel is not deep and is separated by the screws that will hold the ring together past the knuckle (because of a broken knuckle).  Because of both the separation in the channel, and the minimal depth, I believe I can use a veneer to complete the ring to my liking.

Question is what would be the suggestions for securing the veneer to the white gold and encasing it via and epoxy or something to the like that can be polished and hold up to almost daily wear, at least when I'm not in the shop. [tongue]

Thanks for any suggestions,

AC
