Hello all.  I am a novice at absolute best to the FOG forum so I do apologize for any naivety.  I have a question about attic lids.  Can they still be purchased and if so how/where?  And can you switch an attic lid with all other t-loc style systainer tops?  I would like to change my CXS set lid with an attic lid and I have the installer set.  This would be pretty much be everything I need for day to day light duty applications.

Thanks for any insight any of you can provide!

The attic lid parts can be purchased as a spare part through the Festool EKAT system, however I think they were pretty spendy, like almost the price of a Systainer. If you're not too particular about colors, the Systainer 2 with attic lid is available from Lee Valley.

The attic lids are interchangeable between all Systainers but they do take away a small amount of room from inside the Systainer because they are recessed.

I purchased a couple of Festool Systainers with attic lids from Germany because they're NAINA. I swapped them out on my Carvex and imperial installer set.

I bought sys IIs from Lee Valley and use them with my drill sets for accessories.  I also have one on the sys V that my Senco compressor resides in...the lids are great for air accessories.
