Hello FOG,

After some time away from the shop...and woodworking, I am happy to say that I am back. I've spent a few days getting caught up with the happenings here at the FOG.

I see that there is new management now. Good luck and best wishes to the new management.

For some reason, I turned out the lights in my shop one day toward the end of last Spring and for no reason in particular, just didn't go back. Maybe it was the summer and all the out-doors things to do...who knows.

But, It is good to be back in the shop now. Everything was exactly where I left it. Although, dust, spiderwebs and those sorts of things had accumulated all over the place. Kicked all the spiders out, well, sucked them into the CT33 and proceeded to get everything back in order.

One of the things that I love about this hobby...you can go on a hiatus and come back to pick up exactly where you left off. That may be a bit different for those of you who do this stuff for a living. But, being just an expensive hobby for me, I can resume at will.

Since I was last here, I retired my 2 MFT 1080s and made the upgrade to two MFT3s. I haven't broken them in yet, but they seem much improved. The fence is just great!!

If you remember my MFT Retrospective, that turned out to be my farewell to the MFT 1080s. They served me well!!

Anyway, I look forward to joining in the great discussions here.

Regards
Rey

Welcome back Rey. It will be interesting to see how you setup your new MFT/3's.
