We recently replaced an ~5 year old iRobot vac with a newer model (roborock Q5 Max+).  The new one is much better, does real mapping not random pattern, empties itself, nice app, etc.

Instead of recycling the old one, I decided to try it out in my shop.  It works pretty well, probably the best thing is the it goes under cabinets that I never cleaned under.  The down sides are that the bin fills up pretty quickly and material it is picking up appears to be wearing down the rollers.  Probably not designed for this kind of usage.  Overall, it's good.  I will keep using it until it dies.  Probably replace the rollers at some point.

Anyone have experience using these in a wood shop?
