Ordered a 1400 holly rail and joining set from a festool dealer in Kent on the 24th march and still haven't had it, made dozens of calls, all go to answerphone, left messages and sent emails, all ignored. ( wont be using them again needless to say).

Well as I need get on with the job I have an LR 32 set and a 1080 holly rail, anyone managed to register the rail of of the previous set of hole accurately, the cabinet sides are 2.4 m long any ideas welcome.

Thanks

It's not fast but it's not too hard to leap frog the rail down the panel.  Index the bit in the last hole in the previous set of holes to maintain your 32mm spacing.

Tried this today and yes it works but what a lot of fraffing about, and got to do it again tomorrow, very angry with this dealer who let me down. still had no replies to my emails and phone calls. Anybody using dealers in Kent PM me first the website looks okay you order they take the money then nothing think they must be going under. Don't want anyone else to get caught.

anybody used powertoolsupplies.co.uk? prices are good no address on the site that I can see

I also ordered some tools from a Festool dealer in Kent, on the 17th of March.. It never arrived. I had to end up getting a refund from Paypal.

John.....

no harm in naming as long as you are telling the truth,  or name them and give them a review out of 5 stars just my pennies worth

I got my money back, can you go in and give them a slap from me for wasting my time  [big grin] [big grin]

John...

Hello

Firstly let me apologise to customers who have been trying to contact us.  Our telephone system is up an down like a yo yo at the moment.  It's being looked into.

Secondly.  The problem with the LR32 Rail, etc is a stock issue with Festool.  They have a massive backlog and so orders are coming through slowly.

If you send me an email with your details, I'll organise a refund immediately.

Finally, anyone who had received bad service from us is welcome to a blanket 15% discount off all our products (not inc sale items).  If emails are not getting through, a PM on  here will always alert me directly.

I have ordered from powertoolsupplies.co.uk and they were fine (one order for an MFS400). Yesterday I placed another order for over £1000 of Festool and their customer service was excellent. They will give you 2.5% off their advertised prices so I got £27 off £1085. There is an address on their website - its in Weston-Super-Mare. I am not affiliated with the company by the way.

Now maybe those lovely people at n&b might have an unused £50 voucher they would let me have if I ordered a midi and rotex from them [tongue]
If you don't ask you don't get

I have used intelligent workshop a few times.

Even for the smallest of items and got good service.

Even when I just commented on one of the tools I recieved being faulty but I was fine with it.

I still recieved a replacement through the post and I didn't ask for it.

So I give intelligent tools a thumbs up
