Hi, I have a Dewalt D27902 dust extractor and mostly it is used without a bag.
It can be used wet or dry.
It is very bulky and awkward on jobs and I am interested in getting the mini ct vac.
My question is can it be used as a bagless system?
The Dewalt vac although cumbersome has brilliant suction and will swallow heavy chippings as well as fine dust.
The filters are very pricey, over £50 sterling and the bags are pricey too.
Which is why I have used it now for about four years without inserting any bags.
To empty it, I just pop off the motor top and pour the contents into a large refuse sack.
Not the most pleasant job but its quick and keeps all the dust out of clients house!
I always have dust mask about my kit and pop one on when I do this, especially with MDF dust.Another useful thing I have found with the Dewalt is I can store the hose within the vac for transport and have also used it to put large pieces of rubbish in when there has been no bin bags to hand.
