I have purchased a dust deputy 2.5, the newest model I believe, and before it arrives I need to determine how to best adapt the hose, a typical shop vac style size, to my CT 26. Suggestions? I plan to use the dust deputy dedicated to the CT 26 in my shop for sanding and routing dust collection. I have a larger system for my table saw, planer etc. Thanks

I have the DD Low Pro hooked up to my CT Midi l.  I think the port sizes are the same for the LP and the 2.5.  The Festool hose fits perfectly into the inlet for the cyclone.  I am 90% sue that the hose supplied with the 2.5 will fit the CT26 with no modifications.

Hope this helps.

I have one of those that I use a lot and move it around the garage for all my tools; table saw, router, plunge saw, etc. It is excellent. Currently having trouble with static electricity and not sure yet how to deal with it. My CT-15 did not some with an anti-static (AS) hose but I am not sure that is where the issue is. Anyway, this is not about me, it is about you :)

All I am suggesting is, use an AS hose I think and you won't have the issues I am having.
