Yes, this is a long shot of a question...but...

Does anyone in the group have experience buying from a reputable source for bamboo plywood in the Northeast Corridor (between Washington D.C. and NYC)?

Don't wish to send you away, but there's another forum called TalkFestool (www.talkfestool.com) that is predominately Festool-related, but also has many other premier vendors.  Anyway, there are several members over there who routinely use bamboo plywood.  I can't say one has used a vendor in your geographical requirements, but they may have some leads if you don't get something good here.

Sorry I don't have an exact answer for you.  I miss by about 100 miles.  I have not personally used these folks, but I have heard many good things about them.  They seem to carry many of the products that are used by those posting on TalkFestool.  Here is their web site:  Eco Supply Center

I've found one place in the area that claims to handle bamboo plywood...Environmental Home Store in Doylestown, PA.

On to a related question...

will I get a clean cross cut in bamboo with the stock TS55 blade?

I don't remember what the stock blade if for either the TS55 or TS75, it's been so long since I have those saws.
One thing I do know after using Bamboo Plywood for a recent project is that you will get the best results from using the highest tooth count available to you.

You might also consider using blue tape on the out-feed side of your cut.
Using a sacrificial piece of thin ply on the out-feed side would also be helpful.
Run samples beforehand.

I'm going through about 50 sheets of Bamboo a year. All cut with the TS55 and the stock blade. No problem at all, just give the blade a bit more time then with normal plywood as Bamboo is denser.

Also make sure to calibrate your saw on the guide rails (no wiggle sideways) then you will get some silky smooth edges that require almost no sanding! Today I was cutting 100 pieces 4"x6". Sanding all those edges took less then 1 hour!

The stocking dealer for plyboo in the DC area is Amicus green building supply just off the beltway in Md.  The distributor is in Richmond and will sell to cabinet makers in quantity.  Those guys sell every green sheet good out there, Kirei, Plyboo, Arreis. Etc.  Let me know if you want their name, I can get it for you.
