Has any one else been annoyed at how hard it is to search for Tanos products and information since Marvels Avengers came out?
All my eBay and google searches are changed to Thanos  [tongue]

I'm OK because I  remain blissfully unaware of most pop culture references  [big grin] LOL.

The one thing that has bugged me is the iphone tries to change 'systainer' to 'sustainer'.  [crying]

Yep, big problem with Google and words in American movies, once a word is used in a popular movie google always puts those results first, as if people are only interested in movies.

Use quotation marks: "Tanos".

But it's not like there are so many websites out there that deal with Tanos, it is a very unknown brand. Once you know the ones that do, it is not difficult to get your information.

The data doesn't lie (unless it's purposely manipulated but that's a different story...).

Data very often lies, unless we're talking about a heavily peer reviewed scientific study. Too many people pushing their own personal world view.

But it's not just about about amounts of data when using the internet, but about functionality. The other day I was looking for the meaning of a word I didn't know, and instead of simply giving me a link to a dictionary entry, google decided to treat me on 3 pages of that word in different movie names.

Only on page 4 of the search results did I get a proper link. I find that dysfunctional. A few movie links? Fine. But better put a dictionary link in the first 5 results too, if you please.
