Bar Gauges

Some time ago, I bought the 3-piece set of Woodpeckers bar gauges. I used them a few times and put them away.

I'm building a shop island with an MFT top and a bunch of drawers and slide out trays for Sustainers. I have been using all three sizes of the bar gauges a lot and found them very useful.

That's one of my favorite tools to use .I've use a lot of different bar gauge from various manufacture .This one from Lee Valley is my favorite and you can make some really nice one using scrap exotic woods .I wish they make a small version for 3/8 stock ,for measuring small area like when you're making boxes .
