I have a couple post with questions about this project so will keep all new info here.

I made good progress on the new vanity and tall attached linen cabinet. I've been bugging the boss about what hardware to get. She picked bronzed gold for the plumbing fixtures so I thought just pick the style for pulls for drawers and knobs for the doors - simple, right? Oh no, she says she only wants knobs. I think pulls/knobs look better but... What do you think? (sorry for my messy garage/shop)

Unless it's an apothecary style cabinet, pulls and knobs are almost always more aesthetically pleasing to me.

Sounds like the project’s coming along nicely great work so far!

As for knobs vs. pulls, it’s really about style and function. Knobs can give a clean, classic feel, especially paired with bronzed gold fixtures. Pulls, on the other hand, are more ergonomic especially for drawers. A mix of both might strike the right balance!

If you're ever considering a professional touch for cabinetry or custom finishes, companies like offer some great options too.

Either way happy boss, happy project!

Knobs can look clean and cohesive, especially with bronzed gold fixtures, but pulls are usually more practical for drawers because they’re easier to use and feel more balanced visually. A common solution is pulls on drawers and knobs on doors, but if she wants knobs only, choosing slightly larger knobs can help them look proportional and still work well with the vanity.

That looks great, nice work:)

Funny - Im working on the same! I’m stuck on how to finish my drawer faces. I think some sort of routing profile like a v groove would be cool. Right now they are just flat oak faces.

We are leaning toward both knobs and pulls - my wife wants something funky like little owls for knobs (on the smaller drawers) and elk horn pulls.

Came here to ask about this. I have always been told to remove them or not install them at all for sink installation
Most times you’ll need to make sure there is some type of gusset/support to prevent the top of the cabinet from racking.

In your case I would install 4 corner gussets.
