Battery Chargers TRC3 vs. TCL3

Is there any difference, aside from the physical form, between the TRC3 and the TCL3?
I have a TRC3 and 15v 2.6Ah batteries that I've been using with my Carvex.
I was going to order some 18v 4.2Ah batteries and I was wondering if they will charge properly on my existing TRC3 or if I need to get a TCL3.

I have both versions of Chargers and they are interchangeable.

Yes they will charge on either.

I just went through putting a full charge on all my 18V 4.2amp batteries yesterday using both TCR3 and TCL3 chargers. (All 11 of them!).  Charge was fine on both tested against each other.

I think the new charger is just more compact, and the power cord can wrap under the bottom of the unit.  Can't tell if there is a difference in the speed.

Lee,
The differences are the size and the cord rap.  They are both capable of charging the NiCd, NiMh, and Li batteries. The TRC3 will charge the 18v 4.2Ah batteries.
