I noticed the PAW has an available trailer spotter accessory. That could be helpful for
someone who needs to jockey trailers in tight spots or move a trailer without a vehicle.
It uses a pair of inexpensive 12V AGM batteries like those used in a UPS or home alarm systems.
Richard/RMW - Have you looked at bicycle conversion kits as a potential power source for your beach buggy? I see several of them for under $200 on Amazon. Beach sand, gears, and a chain might not be a good mix though unless it was enclosed.
[member=60461]Bob D.[/member] I did, then eventually found this site that offers a range of parts. Haven't seen an ideal solution yet; lightweight, sealed, suitable for Dewalt batteries.
There is an old YT channel where some guy in his garage was making add ons for fishing carts that were sealed units, not much detail and I doubt he's still doing it. Basic idea was something I could adapt, preferable to doing it myself from scratch.
Realistically this is a 2023 project for me, at best. I also need to learn more about the electronics before I start buying parts.
