Last year, I bought a Festool C12 drill motor at our Old Tool Swap meet which included 2 BPS-12 Festool batteries. One battery was good, and the other would run for about 3 minutes then quit. The cost of a new BPS-12 Festool battery was $88.00. Since I only paid $65.00 for the whole kit in a systainer, I did not want to pay more for one battery than I paid for the whole kit. I searched the web and found "Nethers Batteries” in Ohio. John, the owner, has since moved to Michigan. He quoted me $44.00 to rebuild the bad unit. I have been using his rebuilt for the last year with great reliability. Now the original battery, the one I got in the kit, has also died. So off it went to John. I now have it back for the same cost of $44.00 dollars.
