Had a spare Makita belt hook from their LXT drills/impacts and figured I'd get it mounted to the older C12 drill I've got.
Without too much modification, was able to mount it to the drill body in such a way as to allow the battery complete motion and not interfere with any of the internal workings. In fact, the single mounting screw actually screws into the back of the reenforced screw post that one of the drill body side screws is threaded into.
Did cut a slight slit into the drill handle casing to allow the tab from the belt clip to fit into giving it a twist free secure connection.
