I picked up a used Trion, only to realize later that the blade guide is not aligned and looks bent. I’m new to these tools. Is there a way to adjust this?

Appreciate your responses!

IIRC there are two screws that hold that part in position accessable from underneath. The part may not move over far enough so it is a simple matter to replace it with new part available from festool service. I think it is part #499559 at about $34US if your machine is a PS 300 EQ.

Just bend it back with some pliers.

Unless you want to spend $33.91 ex VAT on new part #499559 which you can order through any dealer or Festool directly. Used tools are not cheap if you have to spend tons of money on broken parts.

It’s hard to tell from the pic, but it appears the guide itself has separate from the metal behind it and the metal is cracked behind the blade?  Might be better off replacing it.

It is PS 300 EQ.

I’ll inspect more if it can be moved back or there’re cracks and has to be replaced. Thanks!
