Hi I am sure I got an email last week from dm tools they are doing quad packs for about £290 I think I wish there were better deals to make start buying besseys

Bessey K Body Revo clamps are great additions to the shop and over the past several years I now own 2each 150cm clamps, 4 each 121cm clamps, 8 each 60cm clamps, 2 each 45cm clamps and 2each 30cm K-Body Revo clamps and use them all instead of my old bar clamps. I intend to buy more if I find a nice sale - to bad I missed out on Lowes dropping the Bessey line and deeply discounting the price on stock ( I actually got a few but I would have emptied the shelf If I could find them).

You guys should check out the Jorgensen cabinet master clamps. I do have a couple bessey's , the only thing I don't like about them is its a pain to clean glue off of them after doing a glue up. The jorgensen's have a smooth rail that is very easy to clean dryed glue off of. the best place I found for deals on them is at menards about twice a year they have a sale on them 24" for $25, 36" for $27 and 48" for $30.

I really don't think they are going to get on a plane and come here from the UK, Scotland, and Wales to buy them from Menards....G3Trim said:

I also bought some of the bessey copy ones from Rutlands, they are not quite as good as the bessey but great for the money, they quite often sell them off in packs of four very cheaply. Axminster do a new range of Bessey style clamps which look good but not tried them yet.

I have never had any issue with any of my Bessey clamps. I did manage to break the plastic on one of the old style K Body clamps but it was -4 deg C and it fell from the roof to the concrete below.
The key feature to look for in any clamp that copies the Bessey style is the quality of the steel and the number of serrations - Bessey have 6 along the length of the bar and the hardness of the elements that register on the bar to hold the clamp in place. Now it is not easy to check any of this before you buy and that is why, like Norm, I am sticking to my Besseys.

I have a wall full of Bessey clamps. Probably well over 50. They range from the 6" Uniklamp (accurate spelling I think) to the longest Bessey makes. The oldest are nearing 15 or more years. They have all been used. I've had to replace 4 of the 6" Uniklamps as they lost their ability to stay clamped under pressure. The K Body clamps get used the most and I've had no failures with them.

Just added another 4 1000K-body Revos to the collection. The additional promotion with the free uni clamps sweetened the deal.
These are excellent clamps. The ones I currently have are superb. Just slightly annoying like one of the previous commentors said about cleaning the glue off the serrations. Slight compromise for knowing the glue up guaranteed to pull up square and true.
Like most tools you buy quality, ease of use and productivity should be what determines the overal choice. I think the Besseys tick all these boxes.
And like Norm says "you can never have too many clamps"
