Got my hands on my first bessey clamps today (K BODY REVOS)

Did wonder what all the fuss was about. But these are reall sexy clamps really good quality and well made . I like them

Obviously I now NEED more .

As if festool isn't enought lol

I'm really happy with them. I will get 4 1000's next month and see what I need after that

As for the axminster ones I'm not sure. You could say that about a lot of other brands  ie Makita make routers sanders drills ect they all do the same job .just down to personal preference

Get a few more Bessey's and build this... Clamp Rack

The idea of this thread is I like the besseys. I'm not really looking for alternatives

Me too.  Wish I'd taken even more advantage of an Amazon sale last year. Love the REVO's!

Keeping an eye out for more on sale or Craigslist.  Now to build an appropriate clamp rack. My roll-around one is full and takes up too much space.

Enjoy,

Frank

Frank. Look at my link above. It is to my clamp project that I got from another member. It was simple and you have a lot more tools than I do!

You just need a TS xx to rip the sheets to size, a carvex to cut the curves and slots for the clamps. A domino or pocket hole jig to put it all together and about a half sheet of ¾" ply.

It took me 3 evenings including glue up and sanding. About 2 hours each. It can be done faster but I wanted it to look nice as well as be functional.

Nice...really nice. Love the shelf at the top to hold accessories.

Thanks. Yeah that shelf is handy. I have my extenders, 15deg clamp arms, adjustable Revo bodies, and cabinet square thingamajigs.

I also just started branding everything in my shop with my new brand. I love seeing my logo embossed into this wood!

I've been using them this weekend and they are awesome. Absolutely the best clamps I've used. I will be ordering some more

Then I can make a display case sorry I mean rack for them lol

I'm now at over 20 Bessey K-Bar Revo's and I couldn't be happier.  It's nice to apply pressure and take diagonal measurements and move on to other work (or a glass of wine).

I've got a handful of Bessey clamps, and last week got a couple of the Axminster 1500mm ones.  They seem as good.  One difference between the Juuma ones and Axminster ones is that with the Axminster clamps you can turn the handle at right angles to the thread to get more purchase.

I've just ordered some Bessey 1000s (set of 4) from DM Tools and they come with a free pair of smaller clamps, think it might even work out cheaper than the Axy ones - or very close.
