For  securing    stair  spindle's  at  the base  (tread)  location.
The  spindle  will  sit  directly  to  the tread.  The  spindles  will be  at least  40mm by 40mm  square.
I have  no experience  with  stairs  so I am  winging  it  to  some  degree.
I think  the 500  system  has a  depth  limit  on their  connectors.
I could  do it just  using  the standard  wooden dominoes.
But  was  thinking  the mechanical grip of  the  mechanical  dominoes  might be  better.

I could  also  just  use  a screw  from  the underside  but dislike  the  hole  that leaves. And  the extra  work  in plugging  the  hole.
I will post a  photograph  of these  stairs  when  they are  finished.
Many thanks  for  any input.

If you use the Festool connectors for the spindles you'll still need to drill a hole for the hex key which would be visible. I'd just use the wooden dominoes for that. For the railings though they'd be perfect as the access hole would be on the underneath.

Another thing I've always done for stuff like that to increase the strength of the joint, is to drive nails into the corners and snip the ends off leaving a sharp end protruding about 3-4mm, so when you place it and clamp it down it registers securely in position and helps stop it from swivelling later.
