Does anybody have a grip solution like on the Makita and Bessey Revo clamps, with my arthritis and nerve damage it's getting to be a PIA with the small slippery handles. I have about 10 different TS style clamps & need to modify 4 of them. I need to do the same with 10 bar clamps. I have tried the different wraps, but i'm looking for a slip over rubberized style. Thanks B

Hi

Just a thought? Wouldn't it work with replacement "rubber-handles" for a bicycle handle-bar? Maybe the wrong diameter? Might be able to pack the clamp-handle with tape.

High end bicycle shops sell several types of cushioned wrap-on grips. The ones I use are grippy on the outside and cushioned on the inside.

"What about just cutting the fingers off, of an old rubber glove."

or

Just wear the old rubber glove.

Have heard silicone tape really holds up well.

This is the silicone tape I believe MGB is referring to.  I've been using it for years and it is great.  Does not leave sticky residue, self seals, can be used outdoors in all temps for hoses and nicked extension cords.  I griped my old wheelbarrow handles a few years ago as the rubber ones had disentegrated.  Still going strong.  Worth every penny.  They have a very nice lightly gummy grip that is just right for gripping.

The only issue I have with this tape is that it sticks to itself (which is also its main benefit).  So I have to make sure I keep my handles separated so they don't attach themselves to each other.

Epoxy a bolt into the end of the handle and then use a wrench or ratchet.

With some traumatic arthritis I found squeezing a rubber ball helps with the movement and hand strength.
