Will the new SCA 8 Airstream charger be considered a tool?

Hmm, well, we may need [member=57769]TylerC[/member] to make the call on this one. According to the product list provided by Festool, chargers are now listed as accessories, not tools.

The new AIRSTREAM chargers (as well as the batteries) are considered accessories.

Everyone who has the coupon should consider making your pending purchase before the upcoming price increase, or see the value of your pre-paid discount evaporate, by whatever amount the price increase adds to your invoice.

My rebate arrived. What a great marketing plan. I was on the fence (no pun intended) for a TS75, and that was all it took. Now there is a MFT and a Rotex 150 in the shop. Slippery slope.

I'm sure this has been mentioned but I find it unacceptable that many people have yet to receive their voucher due to the delay of the Pro 5, pretty much making the voucher useless due to the price increase that Festool adds every year.
I will continue to buy the necessary items to use my vacuums. Blades, bits, sandpaper and anything else I can purchase from other companies I will. As for new tools I'm done.

Hope that i can still find my voucher. went to apply it one only to realize i needed to be with my tools to get the digits.

I HATE REBATES!

Tyler from Festool has mentioned in another thread about the rebate that you can apply the rebate to Sysrock and KAL lights. Can it be applied to Syslite Uni?  [blink]

Is MFT eligible? The rebate form states it must be a power tool, which should exclude MFT, LED lights and the radio... am I wrong?

I'm trying to figure out what tool to buy, but I'm pretty much set and don't really need another tool. However, I'd hate not using the rebate...

If you don’t end up using it. I would be glad to take it off your hands. I would appreciate it greatly!

Thanks,

Mark

[member=50918]serge0n[/member], Festool divides its products into tools, accessories and consumables. Tools refers to anything with a serial number usually. That would include the MFT, CMS, WCR and some other things that aren't powered.

Any Festool in these categories should qualify...
