Help!

I have a Festool CXS which comes with the Centrotec Bit Holder (BHS 65mm).  This Centrotec Bit Holder has a spring that retains the bit into place.  You need to slide the collar to release the spring and remove the bit.  I am looking for a bit holder similar to the Festool one that has a spring to hold the bit, which fits my Milwaukee, Dewalt and other impact drivers.  Anyone have any idea where I could get one?

I have used the magnetic bit holders in the past (which seem to have flooded the market). When applying a good amount of torque with an impact driver, these magnetic bit holders cannot keep the bits from stay in the screw when you move onto the next screw.

Also look at Wera Rapidpter. Couple lengths available. Very positive lock and easy unlock. Snaps shut when you press the bit in. Can take both wire detent and ball detent bits.

[member=60392]JG[/member] I have this set from Wiha that has the bit holder Raj linked to. I like it. Only minor complaint is that the holes in the foam are tight but that keeps the bits form scattering allover the floor if you drop it.  [big grin]

Thanks for posting that Ron...originally I only wanted to purchase the bit holder but purchased the set instead because of the impact bits.  [big grin]

They're rated to 50 ft/lbs of torque.  [jawdrop]

Lowe’s carries one from Dewalt and Home Depot has Milwaukee’s in three different lengths. These might be only available online, I didn’t check that.

yes,  WERA all the way since you can insert a bit with one hand instead of needing another hand to pull the chuck/coupler back when inserting a bit.... I have these at work and at home...
