Blade deflection on TS75

I recently upgraded my TS75 with a Tenryu ATB blade that came highly recommended by my local dealer.

Last week I was ripping 2" thick plywood/mdf shelves and the blade deflected so badly (3/32+ off line) it stopped the saw and the motor (thank you electronic overload protection!)
I let it cool down for 10 minutes, and it kept happening.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Let me caviate this with I dont have a TS75,  I have a TS55.

I have not cut 8/4 hardwood with my TS55.

I have cut door bottoms with my TS55 and a tenryu blade and have not noticed any difference between the tenryu blade and the festool blade.

The blade is not sufficiently parallel to the guide rail.

I'm not familiar with Tenryu blades but if the side clearance between the edge of the tooth
and the face of the blade disc is smaller than the Festool blade, the Tenryu blade will be less tolerant
of poor blade alignment.

Agree with Michael.  I have not used a Tenryu blade, but I have had no issues with the Festool blades on my TS75 cutting everything for 4/4 to 8/4 to 12/4 (in 2 passes).

I'm having a problem with my ts75EQ. When cutting melamine in 2 passes, scoring cut then full depth pass. There's a step. The second pass is 1/64" further away from the blade guard than the first cut so I have to trim it back with a block plane on every cut. Any ideas?

I dont know really,  you didnt give a lot of info. Are you useing a MFT for the cross cutting is that what your talking about of ripping?

Are you using parallel guides for the ripping?

If not do you clamp the rail prior to ripping to stop the rail from moving?

It is a ripping blade? From what I can find ATB is most often used on cross cutting blades.

Had this issue with a normal Festool blade.  It appeared all of a sudden, and I have absolutely no idea what caused it, as it was the same blade and material I had been using the day prior and I had experienced no dramatic incidents.  The blade looked to be slightly dished, and so would not function properly afterwards.  A new blade basically fixed the problem, but it felt like a toe-in issue might have actually been triggered/exacerbated by the blade problems, as the saw no longer felt as smooth in its cut, so I ended up sending it in to service and they sent it back to me with all the problems sorted out.
