Blade disk kapex 120

Hi. You can put another disk size, to the Kapex 120 machine. A disc of 250 mm. I'm in Europe and I work with CMT and it does not have almost 260mm discs. Thanks.

Actually CMT Europe offers 7 different 260mm diameter blades, 5 for wood, 1 for melamine and 1 for aluminum.

If the arbor bore size is right, and of a similar kerf width, there’s no reason why not but, not currently being a Kapex owner, I’m not sure you would get a complete cut?
What I mean is, because you would have a smaller diameter blade, you might find it will not cut right through when cross cutting. This depends on how deep past the base and fence, the blade goes?

I have used a 210mm blade instead of a 216mm on an Elu miter saw without issues, it just means slightly less wide or deep cuts.

I would also be interested in a PCD / polycrystalline diamond disc.
I have seen that there are PCD in size 250 mm.
I'm interested in the PCD disk for cutting laminate floors.
I already know that Festool Kapex has a disc to cut laminate floors, but that disc will wear your teeth very quickly.
Are there other record brands for Europe? Thanks

Well that's weird, those numbers came directly from the 2018 catalog.

FWIW...Festool does offer an older designed PCD blade for the TS 55 & TS 75.
