Hello everyone,
I recently bought an almost new TS75 from a coworker. The saw has been used very little. I did notice however that the splinter guard on the guide rail had been trimmed very close to the rail.
I used it tonight and noticed that it seemed to be splintering quite a bit so I checked the blade a little closer and it appeared to be warped. It was enough to see with the naked eye. I checked the flanges for debris or foreign objects and found none. I checked the runout on the arbor and it is OK. I reinstalled the blade and the runout was close to .020. I asked my coworker if he noticed it and he said he didn't (he is not a woodworker) My coworker did engrave his name in the blade however.
I also noticed that the flanges have a hard rubber washer glued to them, this is different than my TS55. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Does anyone have any suggestions? I think it is the blade as merely pushing on the high side of the warp made the runout less. I was going to check with my dealer to see if they had a blade truing service.
Thanks,
Eddy
