Blaklader Pants

Can anyone who owns both Blaklader and Bjornklader pants comment on the sizing between the two.

I have a pair of Blaklader Bantams and would like to order a pair of Bjornklader ace carpenters but don't want to have to re-ship/exchange them if the sizing not what I expect.

Blaklader are a much roomier fit. Bjornklader Ace are less spacious. I was told to go up a waist size in the bjornklader because they are more snug...it is accurate!

So are Blaklader and Bjornklader kinda competitors ? Can't see any of Bjornklader products sold in Europe. Where did you get yours ?

I'm in the US. They don't sell Bjornklader in Europe?  Yes they are competitors.

FOG could use a shot of kreg once in a while.

Scott, now you've nudged the sleeping giant! ;)

Have to admit, he always comes up with a smile! Even the FOG can use more of that now and again.

Thank you.

Are the lengths similar? the first pair of Blakladers I got were longer then I expected.

Toolnut has Blaklader on sale now.  Two pair for $70 and free shipping.  I've never tried them but at this price they are cheaper than levis.  I wanted bantam but they're not on sale. I'll give the 1625's a try.

I bought my first pair 3 years ago and now I have a second pair of the 3/4 pants for the warmer weather but still essentially having the knee pads.  These pants are awesome.  Lots of places to part stuff in easy reach, I can fit my smaller bins from my Dewalt screw kit right into the flopy front pockets and best of all, the built in knee pads.

Those knee pads have really saved me these past few months.  Been doing an excessive amount of work on my knees and I don't think I'd be able to walk by now without those knee pads being there and I'm not a guy with a history of knee problems either.  I always hated the strap on kinds.  With these, you don't even know they are there.  A pure pleasure!

I have never heard of anybody getting a pair of Blakladers, and while I've never tried Carharts before myself, I've read plenty of people who go to Balklader and never go back.

Disclaimer, (because I may be sounding like a shill at this point but in reality I just love them so much), no affiliation with Blaklader other than being a very very happy and satisfied DIY user.
