Blasphemous?

just thought I'd post a pic, as I have read quite a few threads about rail compatibility.  I have the Makita track saw and rail and I decided to buy a festool rail because it seemed to be compatible and so that I can use rail attachments for my OF 1400 and PSC 420 if I want (and because I will probably get a TS 55 REQ if my makita fails on me).  The only difference between the tracks is the small lip on the makita rail for the anti-tip feature, which is always more of a hassle because I finish the cut and forget to slide the little anti-tip finger back in and I yank up the rail with my saw.  I have them attached with the makita connector on the bottom, as recommended by makita.  The saw slides effortlessly between the two rail with NO hang ups. The anti friction tape or the splinter guard on one rail may be a little tiny bit higher than the other, because if I run the saw back over the seam, I can feel it a little.  But, if I start with the festool track first and finish with the makita, it is pretty seamless.
Just an FYI... If it makes it any more blasphemous ... I use Dewalt track clamps and a Dewalt track back for storage.. [eek]. Solely for the price.... Hey, I'm not made of money here LOL.

Anyways... Just thought this might be useful to anyone who had a doubt.  Off to start a new bed for my kid...

I use the dewalt track clamps on my Festool guide tracks as well. I've found the Makita screw clamps don't fit the Festool track without some grinding.

I bought a long makita track, 118". My ts75 works fine on there but my ts55 won't cam down enough to eliminate the slop. I would've rather put the money towards the festool.
