ok guys I am unsure if this is normal so I am looking for some advice.

Here is my TS55REQ bleeding what looks like oil. Should I worry, or is this normal?

i would call festool service for sure!  that seems very strange

I would agree that contacting service would be your best course of action.

It looks like the bearing on the blade side may have lost its seal. I would have that replaced asap because if it starts to drag or worse seize that will ruin your motor or brushes. Hopefully its under warranty? [eek]

Thanks you all for the advice. I called customer support and my saw will be mailed off tomorrow. Any suggestions on the best way to pack it? I am wrapping it in bubble wrap and putting peanuts over it. The put it into a larger box with more peanuts. Am I being to over protective?

I would just put it back in the sustainer and put that in a box with some cushion around it. That's what I've done. I've never had a problem.

Thank you all for the replies. I got my saw back today and the bearings was replaced. The saw sounds much different now. Thinking about it.. It seems the bearings was bad from day one!
