Board Name Changed

Good Morning,
I just changed the name of this board from "What Else is in Your Shop" to "Other Tools & Accessories."

Why?  Well, this board has become a great place to discuss tools beyond Festool offerings, and I wanted it to have more general usage.  The tools shouldn't have to actually be "in your shop" to be discussed here!

Another benefit is that I will be able to move all tool-related discussions out of the "General Chat & Random Ideas" board into this one.  That way, the "General Chat" zone can be for really off-topic discussions that go beyond any kind of tools.

That's a good change Matthew.  I was using this board that way before but it felt a little uncomfortable when doing so.

    While on the topic of changing board names, and since I just asked a finishing question-  what do you think about a seperate board for all of the finishing related topics?  The terminology for searching for that type of thing can vary so widely that a dedicated area might make finding info much easier.  I do realise that the FOG is not exactly a general woodworking forum, but there are plenty of "off Festool" discussions of this type on here. And I for one have come to find, and trust the info on this forum even if it is not Festool related.

I'm not against the idea generally, but I have to be careful about how many new boards get created.  The trick is opening new avenues when it's needed, but not doing it too often!
If it's something people really want, and we have enough activity going on, I'll do it.

I meant to answer this sooner, but got caught up in some collateral damage!
Sounds like this is something people do want, so I will create a "Finishing" board inside the "OFF-TOPIC" area, and then I'll move the finishing discussions into that new board.
I'll try to get this arranged sometime today.
