Has anyone ever used a Domino XL to make a frame for a boat?  I would also add gussets to the joints.  After the frame is completed, it would be encapsulated in epoxy.  So, it would not an issue of swelling with different types of wood (the frame would be mahagony).

Thanks in Advance,

Ranny

I'm sure it will be fine. However, you could always make your own dominos from mahogany (I often run up doms from scrap - softwood or hardwood). Helps to have a table saw and a router table, and vernier calipers for accurate thickness measurement.

If you are going to encapsulate it in epoxy, it won't matter what the dominoes are made from. West System? 5200?
