Bond, James Bond, on BD

I really like Daniel Craig  as Bond.

His version of Bond is about as smooth as the business end of a Festool saw.  [cool]

But $200 for this set? Wow…

That is a good price, I could be tempted myself !

Yea, Daniel not the smoothest but he gives the role a gritty edge just like he was in Layer Cake.

Dum dum dum, diddle, dum dum.          Dum dum dum, diddle , dum dum.    bahdum danah danana,  doodledo do do do .  [big grin]

Yup, I like Craig .  Connery too.  Ever since I had watched Remington Steel way back when, I though that Brosnan would be good and I  like him too.  Roger Moore , is OK.    I liked the Dalton movies but he never seemed like Bond to me. And Lasenby..........    I don't know  ???

I thought Casino Royale  was great !  Is Craig going to do a third?

I don't like Craig at all. I mean, in other movies he's ok, but not as Bond. He completely lacks the character for James Bond, the dandy but brilliant super spy. The character of Bond that was once in a league of its own is now reduced to an average action hero.

And it's not just Craig, but after Albert R Broccoli, the original producer, died, the whole franchise took a plummet since it was now written, directed and produced by lesser gods. The entire "this is a Bond movie" feeling is gone. It's just an average action flick now.

Craig is contracted for at least 3 other Bond movies. [sad]
