Bosch Contractor's 10" Table Saw with Gravity Rise Stand only $548.00

The kicker is shipping, so for those of you nearby the store definitely run down if you need a saw.  This puppy is almost ALWAYS north of $650.00.

Shipping, using my UPS rates, is about a $100 average.  If you have better rates than me and would like to use your shipping method or account #, be my guest.

Again, sorry that the whole package is so damn large.  Wish this could be available to all of you.  It's a steal.

Bosch Contractor's 10" Table Saw with Gravity Rise Stand only $548.00

I was in a Costco in Houston a few years ago around Christmas. This store was boxed in by interstate construction and very hard to get too. As a result of this, they had marked down a lot of slow moving items to get them off of the shelves. This included the then newest model Bosch tablesaw (Pre riving knife model). I wasn't there looking for a portable tablesaw, but for $299, (I swear on my kids), I got one anyway. I got home, the wife saw me unloading the saw and was about to unload on me. I just showed her the receipt, she looked at it and said I should have gotten more to sell.

Nice saw! I had one and it did the job just fine. Only thing I didn't like... : the pneumatic tires... They always deflated after a week. They are tubeless and are a pain to re-inflate.

Ain't that the truth.  I've been known to run down to the local Depot time and time again when they're having one of their "we are dumping this merchandise hundreds of dollars below cost" sales.  It's amazing to see the strategies they use to turn product.  It's difficult to tell if it's cold, calculated precision that tells them it's been on the shelf too long and selling something at a $200 loss is the best possible way to save the $$$ or if it's just clumsy promotional sales.  I'm inclined to think it's the prior.

I do a lot of work with another contractor that has the 4100 and we've never had any trouble with the tires.

It lives on his truck and has held its settings well for being knocked around the jobsite and coming in and out of the truck for just over a year.  I'll be getting a 4100 when I can justify getting a new jobsite table saw.

Sean, you probably already know, but what's happening is they are just moving out old inventory that seems like it grew roots in the stores. They drop the price and if it doesn't move, they drop the price again, and if it doesn't move, they drop the price again, until they get to a throwaway price.

If you can hit them at the throwaway price, you SCORE!

Mine deflate all the time too Eco.  I've had 3 of these saws and they all did it.  Wish they would have just foam filled them and ditched the valve stem.  Decent saw though...

[big grin] [big grin] [big grin] [big grin]  I wonder if the first person to invent a tablesaw even conceived that one day people would comment on his descendent products having flat tires?  Not making fun of any poster, just wondering.
