The Bosch 1276DVS 4x24 belt sander is the largest sander designed to use a sanding frame that has ever been available in the US. They are discontinued but still available on the second hand market.
What is very scarce is the sanding frame. When new the sanding frame costs me $110 from Klingspor. They are so scarce I'd argue they're worth more now to someone who needs a large self supporting belt sander.
The Bosch 1276/sanding frame is not nearly as good as the Festool version but it is available in NA.
.For another hour or so you can buy the sanding frame on ebay for peanuts. The owner posted obscure codes for the compatible sander but I know it fits the 1276.
