Bosch Glide miter saw?

I haven't even seen one in person yet but there are numerous threads on this subject, try a quick search.

I would see if you could find a boat anchor instead, as it would be lighter then that saw. [big grin]

[big grin]Yeah I even have the gravity assist stand for my 4412 and it is still heavy. Damn thing hit a small hole in a yard about the size of my fist and rolled over and snapped the handle off  [mad] I ordered a new handle ($24.00 shipped) so it will be here monday. Unless the took it from 67# down to 47# you can't pry my Kapex out of my cold dead hands, The Bosch you can…its just to heavy to hold.  [2cents] but a great saw.

i have it and love it. It worked right out of the box with no problems. I wish i could have said that about the 2 kapex's i had that i had to return during the release. i

The only thing I hope they addressed on the Glide is the handle in front used to bevel the saw left or right. It seems that it comes loose, works its way up. You need to keep an eye on it and push it down often to and it feels like it never really "locks" it just a friction type go grabbing. Hope that made sense. Oh and shave 17-20 lbs off of it.
