Bosch Power Tools Buys Freud's Accessory Line and Freud has also recently been discontinuing some routers.

Freud's power tools are not included, but it seems they are trimming the fat and just sold off the best part of the company, their router bits and saw blades!

Not sure what this will mean. I like Bosch products and Freuds. They are both quality line-ups so I would think they would stay mostly the same for now. Bosch does sell router bits at Blowe's and Freud is at HD. Have never heard of a Bosch circular saw blade so maybe no competition there.

I guess Bosch is leaving the Freud name at least for a while and is also keeping the red color and everything else about Freud. I read the Freud family owners will still be involved at Bosch.
