Hi,

I came across this video on youtube: . After about 2:50 he puts out a t-loc systainer apparantly from Bosch.

Has anyone seen the Bosch T-loc systainer before? Does anyone know if this is just a prototype batch or if it was actually sold before the release of the L-boxx? It would be nice if it was available for sale as it would fit nicely with the Festool T-loc systainers.

Think Bosch for a brief period used T-Loc Systainers but then switched to the Sortimo L-Boxx.

Well spotted, I've never seen a Bosch Tloc. I did have a Bosch classic systainer 2 awhile back

I have a three of their L-Boxx things, not that impressed with them to be honest.
Awkward to clip and unclip, especially if they are stacked in a toolsafe.

Got them all for free though so can't complain.

I'd definitely pick up a few Bosch t-locs if they were available. As of now I have 4 L-boxx's and like them but they don't connect to systainers. Yet....

What's better about them?
The plastic is better
Most of my systainers has crack/broke
The Lboxx seems to hold up better
And it is cheaper!!!!!
The system just works better for me

I agree. I have several L-boxxes, but i find the systainers more practical. The l-boxxes are nice boxes, but they are slightly large to carry comfortable stacked. In addition, the stacking is quite time consuming as i always tend to need a tool within the stack.

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy the systainer in a "bosch color" or is it the "sapphire blue" that is closest to the color used by Bosch?

Hi!

You have either to be or get very lucky to find those Bosch T-Loc Systainers - as far as I know they were never really sold/delivered in anyway so there is really a lot of luck involved in finding them and you definitely can't simply buy them like stock items.

If I had to guess, and this is pure speculation: Most people might know that Bosch and Tanos were having a lawsuit over patent infringements that had to do with the whole L-Boxx vs. Systainer thing (This is a fact for all I know). Since new products are not introduced to the market over night I guess Tanos delivered "Prototypes"/"pre-production"-models (or whatever you want to call them) to Bosch for testing and evaluation purposes - then everything went south, they parted ways and there was this one delivery of X, XX or maybe XXX T-Loc Systainers in Bosch Design.

Whatever happened to the majority of them or not - a couple obviously somehow hit the market and were obtained by HIGW65 (the Youtuber who's video you shared) who is very well respected within the German Bosch Professional Forum and has an unbelievable wealth of knowledge about everything Bosch Professional and tool usage.

When I was active in that community he helped me to obtain a couple of "Bosch Professional items" that are highly sought after by many but were never officially sold or available for ordering but were promotional items of the past - I will be forever thankful for that.

So my advise would be to search ebay and platforms the like by day and night, never stopping, crawling through the web (and maybe even the dark web [scared] [eek] [blink]  ;) ).

I wish you the best of luck with your search - I would like one myself but came up with zero to this day.

Kind regards,
Oliver
