Just when you think you have seen it all...Bosch provides free tattoos for their users (fans). It's pathetic, but I am sure this would be just as popular at any of the Festool events. The concrete crowd is a little rougher that those here, but there still would be plenty of volunteers.

The email Bosch sent has a lot more info on the free tattoos which of course have to be Bosch tattoos, but they are free.

Free fake tattoos I get...free real tattoos I don’t get. Rather reminds me of an offer for a free root canal without novocaine. Who’s going to take you up on that offer other than a ..........Bosch concrete guy.

They’re truly a freewheeling social phenomenon unknown until today. Very Scary.

I sincerely hope they can’t build boats and navigate across vast areas. Otherwise we’re all doomed.  [smile]

I think it's cool! While I wouldn't get a Bosch Tattoo - I wouldn't say no to a cool Snap-On, Festool and/or Klein Tools tattoo. In fact I've been thinking about a tattoo reflect my passion for DIY and tools ...

But that's coming from a guy who already has tattoos ...

And I think what is noteworthy, (judging by the video) they set up a nice booth, observing hygienic rules,  for the tattooing to take place ...

So yeah, I go with cool!

Not 'my sort of thing' at all, so my comments are probably not relevant ('though I do tend to agree with Cheese...).
Even if I was a big fan of 'ink', I don't think a tattoo would be an impulse purchase - or include someone else's commercial trademark.

On a more practical note, however, Adam Savage (of 'Mythbusters' and cinema props/effects fame) recently announced that he had acquired his first tattoo: he has an imperial/metric ruler along is left forearm. At least that's functional (presuming he's stopped growing...).
