Bought a used Festool 204083 CT-VA-20 Cyclone Separator-hose issue

The cyclone came with a hose that has a right-angle swivel on each end.  The right angle does not fit my Midi as the hole is too deep.  I see the newer versions come with a right angle on one end and a normal connector on the other end.  I have searched high and low for that short hose and can't find it anywhere.  does anyone have a solution or know where I can get that part?  I included photos of my hose, the old green one and the hose that comes with the new one.

Which MIDI do you have, the original with dial controls or the MIDI-I with the pad controls and built-in Bluetooth?

For at least some of the time, the CT-VA came with both ends for the hose so that one could swap for the one that fit better.

I have the one with the pad. Not the dials. Since I bout the cyclone used, it did not come with the extra connector. Just the hose and two right angles. If you happen to know what part number that is or where I can buy the connector I would be grateful.

Call Festool and they can help you find it. You have to call to order it so it is not an extra step.

I don’t have this cyclone, but a quick google search finds plenty of vendors:

I googled “Festool hose connectors”, so it was not a very specific search.  I would narrow it down more.  Too many responses in my search.

It's a 32mm hose... 204919 should work, but you can double check with Festool when you call to order it.

* I had the old MIDI with the 32/27 and new VA20 hose so I had to swap my extractor ends, so I know that works fine going the other way around too.

Virtually any local dealer should have the straight fitting in stock. It only takes a few seconds to pop one of the angled ones off a swap it.

I would suggest you put up a query if someone will want to swap it with someone who has the CT-VA with the CT 26/36 series vacs.
