Have you had a look at the Jerry Works Kapex Work Station.

Once on the site, the top row go to  Tutorials it is the second project from the top.

Might give you a few other ideas for your work station.

I just re-looked at Jerry's work center...thanks for reminding me.  Inspires me to build my own...of course mine will be a little different but the same concept.
