Hi all,
I opened the box and immediately noticed a curve in the 1400/2  55" guide rail. I thought, no way. Yes it is. I taped a piece a black thread on one end and stretched it tight to the other end along the edge. I have a strong 1/8" crown in the middle. With the TS55 following along this I will continually cut curves. Wow.

Anybody experienced this? The box was not damaged and the crown is actually an extrusion issue and could never be bent this way.[attachimg=#]

Yea,
It's going back. Another discovery is that the blade wobbles badly. I removed it, checked for burrs, checked the arbor flanges for flatness (appear flat), rotated the blade 180 to try and cancel out the wobble, checked the blade itself (it is flat).

Must be the internal arbor itself but my dial indicator reads .037 out.

I'm returning the saw and guide rail and trying again.

Will update Monday or Tue. 1/14 - 1/15
