Buddy List notifications.

Until a few minutes ago I thought I had only one 'Buddy'.  [sad]

When I now just opened the Buddy List, I was surprised, and honoured, to find others.

My question is why the forum had not automatically informed me when these members I assume, listed me as a buddy.

I looked and don't see an option for notifications built into the forum. Nor do I see an add-on to add that functionality. Sorry.

Currently, not much. But I suspect SMF has plans to expand it's functionality.

Per their documentation:

A Buddy List displays all of the members on the forum whom you have added as a “buddy”. This list will also show their online status and contact information if available.

I never heard or knew of buddy lists here at the FOG.  But I completely agree with Shane, always thought we were a great big group of friends!
