Former customer called me to make some changes to an existing tv cabinet. They hung the tv over the fire place so we decided to turn the former space into a desk. I ripped out all the existing shelves, added some fillers and some 3/4" birch panels to give the sides a beefier look and cover up all the damage from the shelves. Still have to add the adjustable shelves, and some more trim, but will be wrapping up tomorrow.

Yes, [welcome] to the FOG!

I *love* projects like that, and what you've done is amazing! I love the warm fuzzy feeling you get when you transform something old that WASN'T woking into something new that DOES work. And you did it with such style.

BTW, which tools did you use to get it done?

I used the Ts55req, ct midi, c12 dril and the Rotex 125. Don't know what I'd do without these tools.

Well I wrapped it up today with some trim, and I had to flip a door in another room. This was my first time doing a Dutchman. Everything turned out great, customer was pleased, even tipped me 100 bucks. They already have a bunch more work for me to do as soon as I have the chance.
