Is it possible to get dominos in bulk anywhere?  I use 12x100 for table side aprons.  Thats 16 per table at .58 each.  If it were a smaller size I'd just pass if over but I'd love to be able to buy maybe 1000 at once instead of 100.

Thanks

I make my own; it really doesn't take very long if you do them in bulk. The Festool ones are beech but I make mine out of scraps from whatever project I'm working on - cherry, ash, whatever. 100 linear feet of stock is like 300 dominoes at 120mm.

There are some pretty good price breaks on DF500 tenons by the case but I don't see that option for DF700 tenons.

They would be about ten cents less if you cut them from the long stock in that size.

I've never heard of a bulk amount other than Festool large packs being offered.  I wonder though if contacting Festool USA directly might result in something different.  Likely not knowing their merchandising style, but still, I'd give it a try.

Insofar as doing it yourself, keep in mind the structure of a Domino and in particular its sidewall ribs, tey are thee for a reason.  Replicating those essential sidewall ribs is the PITA that makes making your own a PITA and not worth it imo.  Just spend the money is what I came up with.

If for DIY projects; how many can you possibly use for a hobby?

If for work; cutting your own eats time like crazy... can't you sell that in another way and just buy the dominos?

You match the 'box' dimensions, or the ribs too?
