Burning smell from CT26

Hi everyone. My CT26 which is approx 2 years old has a slight burning smell when I turn it on. Would anyone have any idea what could cause this?

I have to send it in for service. Smell is getting worst. I will have to hold off till I pick up my MIDI on Dec 1 as I can do without dust extraction on this project I'm on. Now to find a box large enough for the top half of the CT26 and some packing foam.
