C-12 problem

Did you ever seen this? it is happened when I drill 5/16 hole in MDF, parts just separated after a few seconds of drilling. I did send images to Bob Marino. He said he never seen this before.

Ed, I am sorry that you had this problem. I have used my C12 for hundreds of hours and never had an issue much less anything like what you experienced. Is Bob suggesting you send it back to Festool? Fred

I forwarded the pic to Lester at Festool. He's in charge of Lebanon's repair faciilty and will take care of this ASAP.

Call Festool's Repair  800-554-8741 Monday. Speak to Lester. He will take care of you. I am forwarding this picture to him. Keep me posted. Sorry for this problem.

Today I called Lester from Festool repair center. He offer to repair an unit, but I did asked for replacement. I will get a new unit - lesson from my trouble is even Festool can be broken, despite I am very accurate with all my tools.
