C 15 still viable?

Saw a listing for 2013 manufacture C 15 Li - is it worth considering in modern times as an additional drill? Will is work with modern 18v batteries?

15v and 18v are not compatible
The 12v in the recon sale is the best course and it comes with 2 batteries and a systainer
I have 2 older C12v drills and they're awesome.

I have a C 15 and the only batteries that work are the BPC 15 batteries. Neither the older BPC 18 or the newer BP 18 batteries fit in the drill. The drill still works fine despite both the batteries and the drill being over 13 years old.

Also the /old style/ even more rare 12V packs from C12 Li will work with it.

You may try modifying a new small 12V pack so it fits and see how it goes. Unless there is some electronic safety block it should work fine.

You can replace the cells if the old packs wear down, with the right tools..

The drill is viable. I love my T15. The batteries are discontinued but you should be able to find non Festool batteries online just like I find for my 12 volt Festool drill.
