(C12) BPS 12 battery retaining clips

Hello,

I have fall out from my drill dropping 12'. Fortunately the battery took the greater injury.  It popped off, then all was well, even went through a charge cycle. But alas -- the battery wouldn't fully release from the drill motor -- I was able to knock it off (can that be done softly with a ball pein?).

Anyhow, the green retaining clips are toast. How can I get new ones?

The battery housing: T-nr. 494521 (2.4 Ah).

I played phone tag with the service Folks.
Part not available separately -- buy a whole battery or nothing.

BUT, the tech I spoke to (sorry, name and memory are not usually associated in my brain -- I do well with stories and faces though) will look in the recycle bin and send me a battery case if he has any failed BPS 12 batteries.
