Hi all,

I have been browsing this forum for many months and finally decided to register.

I am looking at purchasing a C15 drill and was wondering if there is a screwdriver bit set that can be purchased to complement the drill? I only see the 98-piece installer kit but was hoping for something that focused more on just the driver bits. If Festool doesn't do a set, could you recommend a good set that works?

Many thanks

I recently brought a C15 Set with all the different head/chuck attachments and decided to get the 98 piece installer set to go with it. All the other attachments that came in the installer set have been REALLY useful!!!! I hadn't expected just how often I would use them all.

All the drill bits etc are really good quality and, of course, all fit into the Centrotec chuck that comes with the C15.

I know its not cheap at approx. £300, but worth every penny in my opinion.

Tim.

If you just want some 1/4" bits you can order a Festool twinbox that contains 10 bits. But be it that you're Canadian you probably want some Robertson bits and Festool doesn't make/provide any in any sets.

So I would suggest you just buy some Robertson bits from Lee Valley or if you want Centrotec Robertson bits then go to http://www.atlas-machinery.com/ and pick some up there.

Aside from that, the 98 piece installer's set is the most comprehensive assortment Festool offers.

There is no centrotec set focussed on screwdriver bits only. Here in Europe we can buy all bits seperately, but I don't know if that option exists for North America. Ask a dealer. Maybe one will respond here.

I agree that the set although expensive is excellent and well worth it.  It contains many bits and tips. there is a small package that is sold it has 2 halves that can be pulled apart and contains like 10 "tips" for a screwdriver and very moderately priced.

You can buy all the driver bits separately or in sets here in NA. The inventory of the installer sets is dwindling...

i skipped the forstners too.  You can pick up a more complete set later.  it's a better set without them anyway.  If you do a side by side, some of the better stuff is removed to make way for the forstners. cheers.  and enjoy one of the best drill/drivers i've ever had the pleasure to operate!!!
