C18 Availability

I'm looking for a C18.  Id prefer the basic set, but if all I could get my hands on was the full blown kit with all the attachments I'd go for that.  It seems every place I've looked so far has them on back order or "shipping July 1" - Beaver Industrial Supply, Woodcraft, Hartville Tool, Shop Festool, even my always spot on Highland Woodworking doesn't even have them.  I just asked Festool Products, but haven't gotten anything back yet as its early early morning.  Any ideas where I could get one if Festool Products says no dice?

I have been looking for this too for the past month or so. What I concluded is festool has sold all their C18 inventory and is in the process of releasing kits with the new 4A HPC batteries. Actually, for all their 18V drills (except for the BHC and DWC). Releasing all the kits and combos in parallel with the new TID18. I asked around but not getting any real answers. Even festoolusa website drill section is messed up at the moment, it looks like they are updating that too. Would like to get a C18 (with the new 4A battery) vs the T18, so I hope I'm right. If you find out anything new please let me know.

[member=66003]SonOfMI[/member], Festool is in the process of converting their cordless over to 4.0Ah batteries and Systainer3's. As a result, it may be difficult to find some cordless items in the U.S. right now.

If you looked at the link that [member=20971]elfick[/member] shared, we do have the C18 set with the 3.1Ah batteries in stock and reduced in price. We do not have the BASIC. Festool prohibits any dealer from shipping the updated kits with the new batteries before 7/1.
