The CT22 already comes with an outlet that triggers the vac. Or are you talking about the optional compressed air vac trigger?

You want the receptacle from the CT 26 or 36. They are double wipe instead of single wipe like the original 22 receptacle.

You want the receptacle the tool plugs into to trigger the CT. Call the service department, make sure you get a double wipe receptacle. That is what comes stock on the 26 and 36.

Hey bud, good info. I asked when I ordered mine recently. They ( Festool) told me they up graded the design and the device will work on either. When I got my replacement, it was very nice. Lot different then the original.
